Read reports all the time, figured it was my turn to put one in... Hit the water around 6:30, weather was good, just overcast. Then it came, first the snow, then wind, then rain, then wind and rain. Tried hard for Kokes most of the morning with no luck. Moved on to jigging for walleye, with not much action but my buddy caught his first burbot. Moved down around the corner to try and get out of the wind and trolled for trout, boating 6 in a couple hours, lost one at the boat that was in the 4# range... sorry to see that one go. When we started having a hard time deciding who was wetter, us or the fish, we packed it in.
The hot lure of the day was a little orange colored floating rapala trolled fast.
All in all a cold wet day with average fishing, but it sure beat being at work!
