Hit the water about 9:30. Water temp was 38 Deg., air temp. upper 40'S & pretty steady breeze. Trolled around Spring Canyon and didn't pick anything up right away. So when we marked fish we beached it and soaked some power bait & mellows. We picked up a couple but, man did they bite light. Around noon the sun was breaking out so we went back to trolling & headed up lake. Again, nothing on rapalas, wedding rings behind dodgers or needle fish tipped with worms. We beached it again and finished out the day one short of a limit for the two of us. Many missed fish due to such timid bites. Great scrappers and nice orange fless 13-16". Good day out.
