This was our first trip to Rufus Woods. We fished next to the upper pens with a few other boats. The fishing was slow on the morning, but picked up after 12pm. We only caught the 1 fish, but it was a nice one. The scale showed it just under 12 pounds. Two other boats seemed to do ok- landing 3 or 4 fish each. All fish were caught on black jigs. We are headed back out in the morning... hopefully there's a little more action!
