Hey Kfedka, we fished both places from the beach. This way the boys can roam & pick up drift wood for the fire! Although , you can fish off the docks at either place. We use a pole holder with a beach spike and hang a bobber between the upper eyes as a strike indicator. I can sit back, tend the fire & watch the bobbers for the boys. I've seen locals that have custom bent rebar to fit between the planks on the dock for pole holders. But, again that doesn't work well for us as the boys are far too active.
