Put in at Porcupine Bay campground around 3 PM. We went to the north side of the lake about a half a mile down stream and trolled back towards the launch using 1 oz. bottom bouncers and Mack's walleye rigs (about 20" leaders), in about 20 ft of water and approximately 1-2 mph. No luck until almost directly across from the launch where the waves from the pleasure boaters wash the sandy beach into the water. Very silty, no visiblity. This is where I caught the one and only fish of the day, an 18' walleye. It was between 5PM-6PM. We stayed out another hour or so before lightning forced us to pull out for the day. Hope this helps,
P.S: I have had luck in the past going upstream and letting the current push us down stream while bouncing 1/8 oz. -1/4 oz. jigs (red body with white/chartruese skirts baited with worms) off the bottom.
