I think this is the right area? I launched out of Vantage, and fished the east side throwing grubs around scattered rocks. Caught one smallie and lost one, however, it was the hardest fighting smallie I have ever hooked!! 2.5lbs and fought like a lake whatcome 5lb'er!!! I will have to investigate this river more...maybe a trip to the Tri-Cities is in order as I just may have become hooked on river smallmouth???!!!!


Also got in a nest of pikeminnow....took out 6 of the little bastards!
