Fished this morning with Justin of Far North Charters (509-684-6870) and Aaron from WL.com. We fished the upper Columbia river for the huge redband rainbow trout that are renown for this area. A weather front came in last night which made fishing a little tough but even so we got a nice cutthroat and a 16" rainbow on nymphs. The fish were rising but not interested in dry flies. We fished about three hours, but the best fishing has been in the evening when the massive caddis fly hatches occur. We'll go out tonight and give a report on our results.
