Lake: Lake Roosevelt/Spokane Arm
Launched at Porcupine Bay at 8:30am, weather was partly cloudy but warm, low wind, scouted some area with fishfinder to help locate correct depth, found 25-45 feet of water to be perfect, used Northland Fireball Jigs Green with a nightcrawler first thing, no luck, switched to bottom walker with spinners and nightcrawler a few strikes, switched back to jigs in early afternoon and did good landing a nice 20" walleye and a 15" walleye with other strikes that just couldn't be set, oh well can't complain at least we weren't skunked, but a nice warm day on beautiful Lake Roosevelt/Spokane River for early spring, I'll be back when the season reopens on the Spokane Arm. Good Luck to all.
