Left home at 5:30 A.M. and the temperature was in the mid 20s. By the time we reached Davenport the thermometer in the truck showed 6 degrees. Warmed up to 9 degrees by the time we reached Porcupine launch. We fished between Porcupine and Fort Spokane. Caught 3 walleyes all day. Gear kept freezing up. We were jigging in about 35-40 feet of water. Missed some fish also. We knew it would be early for the Spokane Arm but we had to try. Will be back soon.
