Fished the Hawk Creek inlet up past the old sawmill from 10am to 4pm using sinking rapalas. Hooked up about 6 times, landed 1 nice football shaped 17" rainbow. The wind picked up about 2pm and that's when we headed in. The fish are pretty aggressive, but even with snubbers, the hooks kept coming out. Also hooked one 21" largescale sucker. All-in-all, I'd say fishing is pretty good @ Roosevelt right now. Some advice though: make sure your boat trailer has its license plate!! Got nailed for that one.
