That guy may have something there but honestly I have been fishing for Walleyes since I was 9 years old. I am almost 40 now and I have rarely come across a full moon where the Walleyes are not active. I was up at Banks Lake and it was the same way. Dead.

I honestly think it had more to do with the rising barometric pressure than it did anything else. However, come the full moon we couldn't even mark fish with some serious electronics. So the trick was probably finding the fish first. We marked them all day but very few takers. In 3 boats and 6 lines in the water, we caught 10 walleyes all day. The funny thing is we usually boat a bunch of Perch and we caught 1. Usually hook a ton of smallies but probably caught 8 all day. Something was up at that lake and I think it affected Roosevelt as well.

Friday we caught Walleyes, Perch and Smallies all day long. Weather was miserable but fishing was excellent. We saw a storm move past us and looked headed right on Roosevelt Friday night. That storm could have been what turned these fish off.

I guess this was more of a Banks Lake report but was fishing around to see if anyone did any better for Walleyes and thought I would respond.

Good fishing.
Joe
