Fished around Kettle Falls from 10:00 am-2:00pm. We jigged all day to no avail. I have been hearing a lot of good reports from up there on the walleye's, but no luck for me. I did get one fish on for a moment in about 25ft of water around the mouth of the Colville river. I didn't see many fish netted, but there were a couple. The river hasn't been dropping much as of late so I think the bite is a little slow (at least for me). The color of jig that got the strike was a white winnow shaped plastic. I have also heard from a local that white seemed to be the hot ticket, however I did not hear this until the next day otherwise this might have been a more successful trip. Still, a bad day of fishing beats a good day of working.
