Fished around Kettle Falls from 10:00 am-2:00pm. We jigged all day to no avail. I have been hearing a lot of good reports from up there on the walleye's, but no luck for me. I did get one fish on for a moment in about 25ft of water around the mouth of the Colville river. I didn't see many fish netted, but there were a couple. The river hasn't been dropping much as of late so I think the bite is a little slow (at least for me). The color of jig that got the strike was a white winnow shaped plastic. I have also heard from a local that white seemed to be the hot ticket, however I did not hear this until the next day otherwise this might have been a more successful trip. Still, a bad day of fishing beats a good day of working.

Interesting, Basshunter048 did well at porcupine bay, but Kettle Falls is slow.

Just shows how Walleye can be on and off this time of year. I hope you do better next time.

My Son and I fished there 2 weeks ago and got skunked. We were accually bouncing jigs there and in porcupine we just draged them on the bottom. We noticed also that people were catching Walleyes with bottombouncers. Walleyes are so tempermental. Good luck next time out.!

I'll be out this weekend at Fort Spokane in my own boat. The fishing may be hit and miss, but the oppurtunity is always there for a big girl!!
