Took a friend out to try for early spring crappie at one of my secret lake near home. We arrived on the lake 10:20am. Fished till 2pm. Overall we got 11 crappie 9-11" all females, a few bass and a few sunfish. All fish caught 10-15ft of water. This lake always the 1st to get action and it's only going to get even better in the next week or two.

I love that lake too. Thanks for keeping it a secret, definitely helps keep the crowds down.

HAHAHA, so if you're going to call it a secret lake and then say it's "close to home" you should change your screen name to something other than I live on BLANKETY BLANK lake, LOL. Nice fish though! I live about two minutes from your home lake and will be out there soon, if I see a boat with a puffy brown guinea pig in it I will say hi with a smile! Good luck on your next outing!
