Got to the lake around 0730. The surface was just like glass.
There were a few fish rising and the Bull frogs were going at it hard.
1 Pole with a bobber the other with slip sinkers.
Not a thing for the first 1/2 hour.
Reeled in the sinker rod and casted back out real short cast. Close into shore. 5 minutes later I have a fish on the sinker rod. This is my ultra light rod and reel. 6# braid with 4# leader.
This was an awesome fight!!
Finally tired the fish out and lifted him into the bucket. Nice bow.
Fished for another hour and nothing.
