Opening Fishing Day!!!

I was out on my IN-Laws private lake in Port Orchard, Fairview Lake, and had a spectacular morning with The FIL and a buddy from work. the fish were put in several days ago and i was operating on the theory that they would be running higher in the water column.

I used a weighted bobber with a 3ft leader, another small split shot , and bait. I primarily used Shrimp flavored salmon eggs and red salmon eggs. I outfished those with powerbait and landed a 2.5 pounder and a 1.5 pounder.

Beautiful fish and had a great morning.
