Fished at one of my fav hidden lakes in Sno County. Arrived @ 6pm, caught only Pumpkinseed for the first 2 hours (approx 25 - 30), then as soon as it got dark the slabs started showing up - it was a frenzy. Nearly every cast was fish on!
Called it a night at 9 while they were still biting, took home 18 (10 - 13").
Just some good old bobber & jig trick/ this time tested out some rare 1/64 oz gold jig with pumpkin tube and it worked out great!

If I can sneak out from work tomorrow, I will be at Cassidy - the overcast and rain will get them active.

just responded to your private msg, crappies can be very challenging to catch - there are a few tricks to catching them; the length of your leader, the size of your test lb line, the jigs and color, the crappie nibble, the time of the day, casting/ retrieval techniques, all play an important role.
I have a very busy work schedule, maybe when I have time I can give you a demo at Lk Larsen? Once you get it figured out, you can catch them just about anywhere.
