work got canceled due to rain. I didn't want to go too far from home, so my little honey hole pond was my destination today. I brought nothing but my fly box and 6weight with me.no bait no hardware. the gusts were hard and the brush was high but I made it happen and landed my first cutt about 10 minutes after I started. A 9" cutty c&r'd. For the next hour I had several uncommitted hits that came unbuttoned. Finally about an hour after my first fish I landed a skinny 8" Cutty c&r'd. 2 casts later in the same spot, SLAM, I get a hard hit and I see a very healthy rainbow flash it's side where my fly was, after a few little runs I land a nice 12" rainbow, c&r'd. the action lulled again, so I moved to the other side of the pond, and caught another 10" cutt c&r'd and called it a day. Very very fun for a near home quicky. The fly of the day was a crystal bugger
