I E-Mailed the WDFW recently because of rumors that the WDFW was going to discontinue the Tiger Muskie Stocking program and this is what they had to say:
WDFW plans to plant Tiger Muskie into Lake Tapps on an annual basis. This may change with the uncertainty of how the lake itself will be managed in the future or if muskies start showing up in the White and Puyallup rivers. Management of the lake is something WDFW cannot control at this time, nor do we anticipate muskies escaping into the White River. As with all fisheries management, adapting to the current situation is necessary. We (WDFW) plan to continue stocking Tiger Muskies into Lake Tapps in the future.
