Got out to a local lake with my Dad that we haven't tried since last year. Last year we got hookups with some big fish but lost em on the way in. This year we added some scent and fished the same areas we had the bites and hookups. This time they stayed on. We both caught our personal bests and had the best day of bass fishing of our lives. I brought in a 12" bass followed by a 5 pounder, followed by one possibly it's twin. My Dad landed a 5 pound 12 ounce followed by 4 pound. We called it early before the heat got real bad and we figured it couldn't possibly get any better. An amazing day on the water for a couple of amatuers.
