Been really concentrating on my lil' secret hole the last couple of weeks. I spotted Crappie milling about super-close to the bank and have had almost no luck in hooking into them.
I've had several small bites and one LLR(long line release-hooked but lost before landing), but nothing landed. I've been using a brown or a chartruese "trout magnet" tipped with one of those new Berkley Gulp Alive! maggots in the beige color.
With my LLR I was using a 1/80 oz. yellow&white ice fishing tube. All baits were presented with one of those tiny Thill "Shy-Bite" floats at varying depths.
I am willing to reveal the location of this water in trade for some advanced panfishing instruction.
The water is shore fishing only and has Largemouth and Bluegill as well.
