I decided to get the tube out and hit the water during the heat wave ... laughs. But at 44 degree when I made it on the water at 7:30 it sure felt like a heat wave. Fished for 5 hours with only 2 love bites. The lake was awesome though as the cold had taken away the layer of weeds that covered 95% of the lake during the warmer month so it was nice to explore around the lake. A new highway is soon going to be crossing over the lake so I think that my time fishing this body of water will be coming to an end soon. ended up a little chilly by the end of the day but was able to put in some time using the new setup I got for Christmas ... Quantum tour PT Burner with a Lamiglas Competitor rod. Can't wait until I hook into a fish with that!
