Went to this pond, it is actually created by a river on a rainy afternoon. Stood next to a guy that was just knocking the crappie dead. Averaged about 8-10 inches. They were not huge, but respectable. I couldn't get a bite. Difference was he had maggots and I didn't. They were not hitting anything else. Using a slip bobber at about 8-10 ft deep with some sinkers to allow the jig head to drop quickly. Jigs had a blue and white skirt tipped with the maggot. Really nice little pond with perch and bluegill caught as well. Definitely will go back in the next few days more prepared.
