My wife & I took the dogs out for an adventure - started out heading for Lake Cle Elum, but once there we decided to see what was at the end of the road. A couple hours later we ended up at Hyas Lake in the Alpine Wilderness. The afternoon was beautiful even though the wind was blowing pretty good. Passed several fishermen hiking out as we were going in. None were too happy with the fishing when asked so I wasn't expecting much. Tossed a line out from shore about mid-lake from 4-6pm. Caught four Brooks ranging from 10-12 inches. Kept 2 for dinner and released 2. Really enjoyed this little lake, we'll be back to explore more when we get a chance!
