A friend and I fished the lake today, the first time either one of us had been here. We put our raft in at 12:30 and by 2:30 we had landed close to 20 fish, most of which were rainbows with a couple of squawfish and cutthroats mixed in. We trolled as slowly as possible, just fast enough to keep the blades spinning and between 50 and 150 feet of shore. We used 6 lb. test with a School of Minnows, an orange snubber, 4 lb. leader and green wedding rings tipped with a little worm (just about the length of your fingernail). We downsized the worm offering because the fish seemed to be short striking. We tried to get the line out about 40 pulls, but the fish were usually hitting by the time you got out to 20 pulls. All fish were released and we will definitely be back to fish the lake another day!!
