Fished a rather well known (for people in the know) lake out of North Bend.
Arrived at 0830 and fished until 1100. I was the only fisherman on the lake
during this trip.
Had a rather successful trip, caught (4), 14 - 18". Had a couple of LDR's
and lost one to an underwater tree. In addition, a couple of other strikes.
Used a sink tip with a green woolly bugger with black maribou tail, #8.
Lost this fly and tried same but a gold bead head. NO FISH OR STRIKES ON
BEAD HEAD.
Left this lake and hit the N.F. Snoqualmie. Caught (6) small rainbows on an
elk hair caddis.
Left N.F. and headed up to Snoqualmie Falls to sample the micros at
Snoqualmie Falls Brewing. (One block east of the main drag.) Try The Alpine
Amber.
