The Crappies and bluegills are biting over on the Peninsula. The
Crappies are averaging 8 inches while the Blues are about 6". Crappies are
taking a white 1 inch grub or jig with a skirt and maggot. The blues are
going crazy on 1/2 inch pieces of worm on any color jig or just a hook. Long
Lake is a Guaranteed catch for the kids.
