I fished this lake for the second time in 5 days. It is well worth the hike, even though I don't really like hiking that well. I'm a hiker only if there's a lake for alpine fishing at the end of the hike. Anyway, took my buddy Jason up there this time and thought we'd have a nice little competition. Our competition was the first one to catch 35 fish. REMEMBER, catch and release. Anyway, we were neck and neck the whole time, but Jason finally got 35 as I just caught my 34th fish. Anyway, 69 fish in two hours is nothing to sneeze at. These fish were all caught on rooster tails with two hooks cut off and the remaining barb smashed down to make it easy to release these beautiful cutthroat. Again, we caught a few that were 13" and FAT, but the majority was thinner 10" fish.
