This is a walk in lake in the Seep Lakes area of the Potholes. It's so small that it can't stand too much pressure. If you do some exploring there are many lakes in this area that you can catch some huge fish. All of Oct. is the prime time. This lake only gets stocked every 2-3 years, so if you check the stocking reports on the WDFW site and hit it the following year all the fish will be at least 15 inches with the hold overs in the 20 inch plus range. This lake is one of the more unusual in the area as the water is crystal clear year around. You can see sage brush down 30 feet. I fished marshmallow and worm and couldn't keep it in the water without a fish grabbing it. They were all in the 14-16 inch range and nice and fat. I fished it again on Wed. and it was a bit slower, but picked up another 5 fish in about 1 hour. Rain started coming down, so I made the long walk back out and headed for home.
