Fished the Wallace after work as I live right down the road. Using my last stash of eggs from last fall, I was hoping to catch a fat hen. I had two take downs where I saw an old King jumping and assumed it was the King biting. With my LAST cluster of eggs I wasn't very optimistic about getting a fish as my bait was gone and it was almost dark or I would have switched to a jig under a float. Near the tail out where the King was hanging out my bobber went down and I set the hook. Bam, fish on! A quick but valiant fight was put on by my quarry and as I pulled her up onto the beach I was delighted to see it was a fat hen. Slit her gills and packed my gear off home I went to filet and cure eggs. Tight Lines.
