Well me and a friend fished up in marblemount for coho Saturday from about 630am to 1030am. Tried the upper skagit and the cascade. 1 king was caught and released by us and we only saw 1 coho landed all day. Heard similar from other fishermen on the beach and drifting by in boats. There's some coho in there but they have lockjaw. Tried everything. It was cool to watch all of the dark kings milling and jumping around. We must have seen over 100 kings between fishing the two Rivers. Well good luck out there.

Did you fish it by the campground or further up by the bridge? I'd like to meet others interested in fishing that area.

On the cascade I fished at the bridge. I do try to make it out there when the fish are in since its an awesome system and great scenery. Ill be hitting the Samish this weekend though. At least there on Sunday I hooked into some fish using spinners. I try to make it up to the Cascade and upper skagit fairly often so feel free to let me know whenever you head up that way. Be careful of bears up there too. Ive come across one by myself and when i was up there last year, and last weekend 1 guy said there was one on the beach when he got to his spot in the morning.
