Yep, another post, thought I combine 2 trips into one so this report is for Saturday too. Cold and foggy Saturday morning, fall is definitely in the air! Although we boated quite a few Sat most were on the small side. We tried something different on Saturday while heading back to the launch in the evening, we fished directly around the outer pilings down by Usk and found Largemouth holding in the ones that had heavy foliage around them. The wind blew us off the river before we got a chance to fish them today. We did boat 7 today before having to leave at 1:00. Was great to see Pat Perez up at the launch today, been a few years since we've chatted. With the wife heading back to work tomorrow and my grandson's playing football over in Kent, my fishing weekends from here on out may be limited.

ilv2fish, you're killing me. I'm dying to get back down to the P.O., but living up here in Republic I haven't had the time for the long drive to fish....those are some beautiful fish. Have a great time in Kent....my old stomping grounds.

Jim it was great to see the great fisherman and you sharing your expertise. We should go out fishing sometime. This year may be close to being over, but next year let's hunt for hawgs on the PO River.

@bogeyebe56-Have you ever tried the upper part of Roosevelt around Kettle Falls for smallmouth? Seems they should be in there too?
