My nice boss (also a fisherman) let me leave work when we got our permit. I was up at Reiter by a 12:45 and fished until about 8pm. I did see a couple fish caught, but it was pretty slow. I'm guessing 1 fish for every 5 anglers. I was definitely expecting better fishing since it was opening day. The water was a little low in spots and a little clear, but still had a slight green tint. The gate on the tube to the holding pond was open. The weather kept changing from sunny to overcast to rain to sunny to..... Like I said, I was expecting easy limits but had to work to scratch out this little guy.
