I have rarely fished the Naches, but since I was on my way home along Hwy 410 I decided to stop and give it a shot. I fished a stretch of river with several nice looking areas over about 100 or 150 yards and didn't see any sign of a fish until I lucked into this beauty. It was the only fish I saw, probably the Naches gets a lot of fishing pressure since it is near Yakima and right next to a highway. Maybe that's why it's catch and release. I'm glad I let him go. And yes, that is a single hook on my lure.

The water was very cold, it felt like it was around 40 degrees, surprising because it was about 90 degrees outside at 11:00 in the morning.
