Report is for thanksgiving morning. I went to the Puyallup first right at first light. The water looked good, but no one was catching any. It was 26 degrees when I was there. I didn't have much time so I left and went to the carbon. I fished below the treatment plant in a couple new holes that formed from the high water. In the second hole I hooked and landed one fish. And was done at 840. I caught it twitching jigs.
On Tuesday the 24th, I walked up to the hatchery to see if there were any good holes from the high water. The only good hole is right were the trail hits the bank. I caught one coho about 3 lbs up there. Down farther, I caught 2 more coho about 3 and 5 # also. All fish were caught twitching. I did fish bobber and jig but no bites. If all pics post there will be a pic of a cutthroat from a couple weeks ago. Sorry for late post. I think the carbon is closed now but the Puyallup is still open for coho. Catch and release on carbon.
