Fished the Cascade last Sat Morning under the bridge. Had the river to my self a couple hours till a group of 9 or so got there, which is alot of people for that spot. It was all good though. Plenty of room and they let me have the spot I was working to myself. got a few bumps on a black jig, probably just hitting the sides of fish. switched to free drifting eggs with 1/2 oz of weight and about 3rd cast got a taker. not a bad size coho, but too red for me. Saw other dark fish milling around and missed one other solid hit. The other guys caught quite a few dollys on eggs and worms when I was there, nothing of size though.
A few weeks ago I hooked a sockeye, 15 lb chrome king, and some dark coho there as well, all released.
