Got to the river about 7am this morning and found it surprisingly empty. Fished bobber and jig with shrimp and all was quiet for a bit. Landed a hen, maybe about 7lbs. Also had another fish hooked but it snapped my jig off. The way it was fighting I am pretty sure it was snagged, which is pretty crazy since I was fishing a bobber. The bobber never went down, I just started reeling and felt the pressure. Fished til 930 without any other hits so for 1/2 on the day. White jig head with pink feathers seemed to do the trick today. Ratherbefishing landed a buck with the same color scheme and was 1/3, all other jig colors struck out. Saw 4 other fish caught by people on the other shore, mostly using corkies and yarn it seems. Relatively slow day considering how many fish were being caught last week. Seems like it's slowed down a bit but still some fish to be had, can't complain!
