Not much to report today. The river is pretty much blown out due to the rain. The water is high and muddy. Fish are moving, lots of small dark coho. Visibility is less than a foot. More rain will undoubtably make the river even higher.

I did manage to snag a decent sized suckerfish. But to me thats a double-fail. Not only did I snag a fish, which is unethical, but it's also a trash fish, so... fail.

Still a nice day to be outside however. I explored lots of good sections of the river that will produce when the water lowers again.

River is definitely blown but very fishable- Ian you love fishing the north fork eh? I was up on the north fork earlier today at nugents corner, again up at the confuence of north and south forks, and again up at mosquito lake bridge-- ended up with 3 nice and chrome silvers, all small but very nice colors from the holes under the bridge...
