It was a quite cool, cloudy day with light, cool winds. Fishing buddy Mike wanted to put some time on his rebuilt outboard so he bribed me to go with him with the promise of a little fishing time. We launched his boat and zoomed around the lake, on plane, a few times and then we started to fish. I suggested that we start where son Donald hooked and released his 19 1/2 inch beauty on March 10th. We had only made about a half dozen casts when Mike hooked the fish. Same length, nearly the same weight and hooked only about 20 feet from where Don hooked his fish. After being admired and thanked for the memories, the fish was again released in the same spot. I'm about 99 percent sure it was the same fish. A good testimony for "Hook and Release!"
