Is that a pretty typical day for kings down there? 3/5 for 4 kings?

no. i have fished it on and off for years. its known as a frustrating river, in tidewater. see salmon jump. jump salmon, jump! lol. its all too shallow. snaggy. and you wonder if the fish are blind, deaf, and dumb. however. its allways quiet. low traffic, and very relaxing and beautiful. we had an exceptional day. after a rain, the fishing can come to life. fish roll like heck off and on. which gives a person hope, that one in the mix, is willing to attack. they do. the nets have been kept at bay for a month. they have been in now. check the scedule on wdfw. no in river netting allowed. no tribes on this bay. its a drive, to boot. the bay itself, has been very hot in the last six weeks. a four adult limit. no wild kings. wild coho fine. the two of us, put four kings in the boat. i was gratefull.
