Fished the Stilly today. Caught over 2 dozen humpies today all in the mouth all released. got my 1st coho of the year missing half his tail but nice fish nonetheless. All caught on small green dicknite. An asian coulpe came fished ontop of me about 2 feet away with plenty of room (200 ft to the right of them all empty) drifting their gear 5 min at a time so I couldn't cast at all. they saw i was catching fish so they took my spot so finally i told them to go up river and away from me. When someone is in a spot first you cant take their spot everytime they re-rig. Some people dont have any river etiquette and its rude. Ive never had to tell anyone to move before but this was ridiculous. Other than that 5 star day for many humpies and the coho and all of the great people I chatted with through out the morning.
Tight lines!

Nice catch!!! Never have fished the Stilly cause I don't know where to go. If you could help me out I would greatly appreciate it but if not its cool. But about those people who fish in your spot when you have to re-rig or even mark your catch card is ridiculous. But sometimes you got to tell them to move.

ilvlakecassidy is right, if you dont mind fishing near people those holes on norman rd can be pretty darn good.

When the Snohomish is not biting, I head to the stilly. Same spots. Always fun. Hate it when people do not have respect for others as well. I would have told them to move as well. If they didn't then just pee in the river up stream and say, oh i'm sorry, I'm just marking my spot!! lol. Not really, but would be a funny thing to see!!
