Saw positive reports on the duwamish. So i got up bright and early and headed to codiga. Parking lot was packed. I managed to get one of the last 2 stalls. Lots of anglers on th beach. Seen a handful of pinks landed out of the 15 fisherman there. I got skunked. Some people were floating eggs right next to me. All they caught where bullheads. People who caught fish were right out front of the entrance. Fished for three hours and called it quits

You must have bad fish karma. I've been slaying fish on that river. Using just jigs, not spinners, not eggs, not corkies. Just jigs. Also there's lots of unpopulated places to fish on the river. Get out and explore. Think outside the box. If 15 guys catch a handful of fish, maybe there's a bit of a problem. Too much pressure on the water? Maybe the tide is wrong? You've got all the pieces just put it together.

skunked in the the peak of humpy season? ill give you a tip, spinner fishing in the rivers isnt as simple as it seems, i bet the current caused your lure to stay WAY off the bottom. as ratherbefishing mentioned, use jigs. dont bother with all the other crap. use jigs, or if you must try something different, swing a dicknight. 1/4oz or 3/8 jigs or a 3/8oz weight for the dick night and 3'-5' leader, not 12'...sandshrimp oil helps sometimes, but with proper technique and lots of fish in the river it shouldnt be needed.
