With great anticipation headed to my favorite spot on the lower Green River hoping for a pink or two or even a nice coho. Made it down the steep bank with no broken 77 year old bones and started fishing. For the first day of fishing pinks in the lower river it seemed barren. They were few to be hooked or seen. Lost one and foul hooked another (carefully released) and that was that. Gave up after only a couple of hours due to the wind and rain. I fish about a mile above tidewater.
