Wow, what a rough day out there today! After the crazy incoming tide bite yesterday my buddy and I hit the river again today. What a difference a day makes, eh? in 3 hours, one foul hooked in the back, one taker but lost her at the beach, and that's about it. The guy up the river and his little man caught 2 chinooks though, nice to see them gingerly remove the hook and nurse them back into the river after a couple in water photos.
Not sure of other's experiences out there, but if I get a fish on, don't come bogart my spot just because I needed to move upstream to land my fish. And there's really no reason to start casting 5' next to me when there's a frikking huge beach there to cast from. ??? My heat isn't going to rub off on you!
