Saw the tide table this morning and that the incoming tide was timed well with getting the kids out the door. Grabbed the poles, the 3 kids, and hit the river.

Lots of fish jumping just beyond casting reach, or so I thought. My 6 year old was the only one catching them with 3 on and 1 landed. We were out a couple hours, tide was still coming in when we left but the bite was slow.

The one he landed still had some nice chrome, small male and no hump forming yet so I think he was just making his way in.
