First time targeting smallmouth in this river after reading some reports on here that they are in there. Between Barker and Flora as the sun was going down they were hitting on nearly every cast. 3/32nd jig head w/ a single barbless hook with a soft rainbow colored 3" shad brought in some decent ones and also threw a fly and bobber after missing a bunch of smaller fish. Caught a lot of dinks with the fly. Probably at least a dozen fish to the shore in an hour of fishing. The two pictured were the nicest ones of the bunch, they fought good and hard.
