Ok ok... So I didnt really fish the wynoochee. I fished up and down the coast on many different river systems this winter/spring...This report is a season summary and thank you to everyone who fished with me!
Although not quite over yet... I figured it was a good time to throw a couple of the most memorable photos up and say thanks to all the awesome clients from Washington lakes/Northwest Fishing Reports ive had this Winter.
This has certainly been my most memorable guiding season yet. With the low water/lack of rain we had for a large portion of this winter season...we were able to find solitude on many river systems... And mixed with unseasonably sunny, warm and comfortable days and crazy good steelhead fishing... I will not soon forget a single day I was able to spend on the water with you guys. The fishing was incredible and it was awesome to see our wild fish return so strong!
There were many first steelhead, biggest steelhead and best days on my boat this winter, and the smiles lasting all day long are what keep me working my hardest for you guys day in and day out. I am truely thankful to all that decided to fish with me, and I hope to see you all again in the near future.
April 20 is my cut-off date for winter steelhead. I do not have any days left open this season. May is a bit of a slow month. Then June 1, I will likely run a week or so of Spring Chinook trips on the Skagit. I leave to guide in Alaska on June 15 and will be back to hopefully see you all again starting in September for fall coho season.
I cannot thank you guys enough... Enjoy some of the most memorable and awesome photos from this winter! See you soon!
