Today we launched at Blue Creek in the heavy fog and the water rising from 4,000 to just under 5,000 CFS,
and adding color quickly. Visibility around 6 feet going to about 3-4 feet by the end of the day.
We got into three steelhead today with one client onboard and he ended up with his limit side drifting eggs. It was not an easy day we had to cover a lot of water to find our fish. Flame orange got the job done today.
It is always hard to get your fish when the water is rising that quickly. Stick to the edges and you will still find willing takers.
Nothing on plugs today. But did see one boat do well with bait and diver.
Fishing the Columbia River, Cowlitz River, Chehalis River, Wind River, Drano Lake, and Lake Merwin for salmon, steelhead, and kokanee.
