This is a Williams lake report but, (We fished Clear for the opener in Spokane, co.) Not one fish smaller than 3 lbs was caught in our group of 5 people. WE caught rainbow and browns at will by deciding on what species we'd catch through changing the lures and colors and trolling speed. OUTSTANDING fishing trip yet again ! Fished Williams last week-end and caught 5 fish within the first 30 seconds that we were there. NOT KIDDING.....36 feet of water, powerbait, 4 lb test, 3 kids and 2 adults in the boat...we threw our lines out at the same time and everyone had a fish on within 30 seconds.....(it was comical) All of the fish were landed safely.....Color of powerbait seemed to matter as the day progressed. We fished from 8:30 to 2:30 and caught our limit for the boat. All the fish were nice sized 19 inches plus. 1 fish was 28 inches. Overall this was a very good trip. The kids had a blast....Special thanks to Klink's Resort for making Williams lake a winner this year ! Sincerely, Trout Terminator. P.S. Remember, the common rainbow trout is your mortal enemy, FISH TILL YA DROP ! ! !
