My buddy and I started at the hatchery at light. We decided to move quick and cover as much water as possible. Just down from the hatchery, my buddy got a small bright hen about 5 pounds so we had high hopes. We fished all the way down over the course of the day but no more steelhead. I did hook and lose what I think was a sucker. It was about 2 lbs, but no positive id. One guy I talked to said he caught a native early in the day above hatchery. I don't think I will go back there again this year.

I was bored so I tied some seahawks inspired jigs. I don't think they will catch any fish though.
