Wow! What a great week we had fishing Idaho's Clearwater river. I was out most of last week and all I can say is the fishing was amazing. The recent warm temperatures and rain brought the water up some and the fish came with it. We had great catches all week. In the power boat I averaged between 12-20 hookups a day! One of our guides landed 22 steelhead with two clients out of a drift boat! In the power boat our key to success is side drifting and covering a lot of water until we locate a big push of fish. In the drift boat we mixed it us some and a few days hammered them on plugs while other days we did really well side drifting. If you are looking to book a Clearwater Steelhead trip look no further than now. Things are going great. I have included a picture of one of our limited out days out of the Drift boat.
